Sue Jelley PPSWA has been asked to donate a painting to the famous George Abbot School in Guildford Surrey as part of their ‘Renaissance Project’ to raise funds to support our next generation of artists and we are delighted to confirm that Headteacher Mrs Kate Carriett has kindly agreed to talk at the SWA Young People’s Art Initiative Event at Mall Galleries Tuesday 24 September.
Sue who recently ran a workshop in the Cotswolds says ‘ it is always a pleasure to help emerging artists especially our young people. Many of our members have created an important network of art appreciation/ education through their workshops and demonstrations throughout the Uk - an ethos long championed by our Royal Patron HRH Princess Michael of Kent.’
