Maggie Robinson SWA - Solo Exhibition 'A Scottish Symphony'

'A Scottish Symphony' Is Maggie Robinson's second solo exhibition held in the Smithy Gallery, Scotland. The inspiration for this theme is based on the fact that a musical symphony consists of four movements that all relate to one another even though they are complex pieces in their own right. They have their own characteristics and just like chapters in a book they tell a musical story. The challenge was to find ways of creating a variety of paintings that would reflect these differing moods, structures, and contrasting subjects to give her 'artistic symphony' enough content to create a whole composition.
