Painting throughout her life whenever possible, Marcia is self taught. A member of The Society of Women Artists, Teddington Riverside Art Group and Molesey Art Society, she has an extensive catalogue of watercolours and is renowned locally as an artist and experienced tutor in the field of Botanical Painting and Drawing.

Courses are led by her at the Landmark Arts Centre and Richmond Adult Community Centre in South West London.Marcia has exhibited her work at many prestigious venues such as Westminster Hall, The Mall Galleries SW1, The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington, The Savoy Gift Shop, Aberfeldy Gallery in Perthshire, Wadhurst East Sussex and The Stables Gallery in Twickenham.2010: Marcia received the HRH Princess Michael of Kent Award at the SWA Annual Exhibition and the Christopher Bounsel Award at Molesey Art Society's Spring Exhibition2004 and 2005: Arthur Henderson Hall Award for the most perceptive painting in show2003: Finalist in "Not the Turner Prize" at The Mall Galleries

2002: Received the HRH Princess Michael of Kent Award for the most outstanding watercolour in show at the SWA Annual Exhibition.
