My subject matter is celebrating the splendid anatomy of the human body which is so innocent, and to create tactile and sensuous sculptures.

 

I create sculptures capturing the fleeting magic of a dancer simplified when caught in a moment of time, using strong lines of classical purity mixed with the dynanism and energy of a more contemporary reality, to awaken spirituality in an over materialistic world.

When working in clay, I use the touch my hands creating figures to come alive and dance across the table. When working in plaster, simple forms are created to express movement, eliminating details of the face to keep the sculpture timeless.

 

My goal is to inspire those who see my work to discover the beauty in the people that surround them.
