Joannes long standing passion for nature and her love of Art goes back to childhood which was spent in North West Cumbria.
 

She paints using many different forms of media and explores a wide variety of subject matter,either working directly from the subject or sketches drawn on location.Her paintings have a richness and depth as well as expressing mood,emotion and atmosphere.
 

Joanne has exhibited widely,both locally and nationally and received a number of awards.
 

As well as being a Member of the Society of Women Artists she is also an elected Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
