Living and working in the North of England is very important to me as an Artist. It is here where my roots are, surrounded by the people and landscape I love.

My work reflects my academic training in the sixties, my passion for fine line drawing, Etching and Anatomy. Keeping abreast of our changing world is important, and Art is my platform to support and raise concern for the most vulnerable in our society .

 

I am a full and active member of both the SWA and MAFA , (Manchester Accademy of Fine Art) and a full member of NEO Print Studio. I have had many notable exhibitions, awards, and one man shows. My most memorable commission was for Diana, Princess of Wales whilst I was working as head of Art at Bolton School.
