Carol Hill SWA learnt to paint in oils in the 1960’s whilst living in the Far East and has painted ever since. She now paints in oils and watercolour and tries to paint outdoors as much as possible. Carol travels extensively and particularly enjoys painting landscapes. Carol also paints seascapes, still-life and flowers.

She has exhibited at the Royal Watercolour Exhibition in London and is also a Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and the Society of Floral Painters.

Carol gives demonstrations and workshops to Art Societies around the country as well as on cruise lines.

In 2009 she was awarded - HRH Princess Michael of Kent Watercolour Award - for the most outstanding watercolour in the SWA exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London.

In 2011 she participated in the Lady Taverners Auction at the SWA annual exhibition in London.
