Annette Johnson was born in London. She started painting whilst living in Boston, America and has since studied at the Sir John Cass College of Art and etching at Morley college. Annette has her own etching studio where she works as a full time painter/print maker. Annette also runs workshops and teaches painting classes. She has had many solo exhibitions and has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Though her oil paintings she tries to capture those moments that fill us with peace and reflection; Summer or Winter light on a small jar on a window ledge, a walk on a deserted beach. Those small gifts of life that give us overwhelming joy.
