Christine was born and brought up in London and having nurtured a love of drawing and painting since childhood, is entirely self-taught. She exhibits with several prestigious galleries throughout the U.K., including The Mall Galleries and has had numerous solo exhibitions.

Her work has also been featured in a number of publications. She shares a studio in Gloucestershire with her daughter, Claire, a picture framer and gilder.  She paints and runs workshops at the studio, as well as visiting art societies and other organisations to teach or demonstrate. She also tutors painting holidays in Spain and the Cotswolds with Andalucian Adventures and at Marlborough College Summer School.
