Catherine is a professional artist working
from her studio in Skirpenbeck, a small village 10 miles to the east of York. Catherine works predominantly in soft pastels with a wide
variety of subjects and is passionate about her chosen medium of soft pastel, it provides a wonderful vibrancy to her work. Catherine is becoming increasingly well known for her wildlife work as
well as her commissions for portraits and animal portraits in which she specialises. Catherine has held several joint and solo exhibitions, with an
invitation for a solo exhibition of her work at the Taylor-Pick Gallery, in Beverly for October 2006. In 2005 Catherine was elected to full
membership of the Society of Women Artists, Catherine is a founder member of the East Riding Pastel Society and also a founder member of ERA, East Riding Artists.
