In spite of a love of art at school, I did not take up my brushes in earnest until my family had grown and flown. My abiding love is plants and flowers, not represented
botanically but in various settings – conservatories, gardens, still life, etc. I also have
a very soft spot for animals and enjoy the commissions to paint them that come my way. I exhibited with the Society of Botanical Artists for several years and also with the ROI. |
