VIKKY FURSE Dip AD, ASWA, UA

With a passion for wildlife, mountains, and people, Vikky has been working on series of paintings based on field sketches from her many visits to the Arctic.

In NE Greenland she travels with Inuit Hunters and their dogs, camping for weeks in snow and ice. In 2006/07 she was Artist Residence in Antarctica. 

Artists & Illustrators magazine published a 4 page feature on her work in 2008,

and she was a finalist in their Self Portrait competition in 2007.

Three of her paintings are in the public Art collection of Kecskemet in Hungary.

Dorland Kindersley included her work in their book ‘Acrylics Workshop’.

Vikky’s paintings have been selected for many solo and two-man shows, and been featured in exhibitions in the UK and abroad, including exhibitions in London with United Artists, London Art, the Pastel Society and The Society of Women Artists.
