“I constantly learn through my paintings and constantly seek to learn” Janette lives in the Midlands and practised for several years as a Commercial Interior Designer. She works mainly in pastels but also in acrylics. Her inspiration comes from the landscape; from the effects of light and shade and the sense of mystery it evokes, to the effects of colour and the mood it creates. As well as the Society of Women Artists, Janette exhibits regularly at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and the Birmingham and Midland Pastel Society. She has also exhibited at The Cowleigh Gallery, Malvern. In April 2008 she was elected Associate Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
